For local businesses
Find out whether AI sends local customers your way
When someone asks ChatGPT for the best physio, salon or plumber in their city, it names two or three places. BrandGauge asks those questions the way your customers do and shows whether you are among them — and who is, if you are not.
The questions your customers already ask
Local buyers ask about a place, a need and a moment: the best option nearby, one that is open on Saturdays, one that is good with a particular problem. Those are the questions we put to the AI — with your city in them and your name left out, so the answer shows who it would send on its own.
You see every question before the scan runs, and can rewrite any of them to sound like your customers.
Your brand · never in the question
Your name, your trade and your city
Enter the business name, what kind of business it is, and the city or area you serve. The location is what makes the result mean something: being recommended in Austin says nothing about Dallas.
Add what you are known for — sports injuries, evening appointments, walk-ins — and the questions move closer to the ones your best customers ask.

Who gets named instead, and where the AI read about them
The report ranks the local competitors the AI recommended in your place, by how often. Next to them are the pages it read before answering — review sites, local guides, directories and forum threads.
Those pages are where a local business wins or loses the answer. If they list your rivals and leave you out, that is the gap to close first.

Know whether the work paid off
Fixing a listing, getting into a local guide or collecting reviews does not show up in AI answers overnight, and one check cannot tell you whether it worked.
A subscription re-asks your questions every week on ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity, suggests what to change from your own results, and tells you when the number has really moved.

BrandGauge is also a service. Our team works out what keeps your business out of AI answers in your city, improves the listings and pages those answers rely on, and measures what changed afterwards.
Tell us about the brand and we'll send a scope and a price. You don't need an account or a scan to get in touch.
What people ask
Do I need a website?+
No. The scan looks for your business name in what the AI says, so you can be measured without one. The report shows which pages the AI does read, which tells you where you need to be listed.
My business has a common name. Will it be mixed up with others?+
An answer counts only when your exact name is in it. If another business in your area has the same name, the scan cannot tell you apart — enter the fullest name your customers know you by.
I have more than one location.+
Measure each city or area as its own brand. Being recommended in one says nothing about another, and averaging them would hide where you are losing.
